Confession of A Shopaholic

Last weekend watched this movie with Sum1. This time I get to choose the movie since the last time we went out for a movie, it was a disaster. We  watched a movie entitled “Diary of the Dead” which of course, selected by Sum1 who likes horror flicks and gory ones.  The movie was filmed behind a moving camera, as if you’re the one holding camera with the walking and all. You know, sort of the Blair Witch Project style. I ended up getting a huge headache and we left the cinema in a huff.

So that was the end of our movie date some time ago.

So this time around, I was so excited about the movie and turned out, it is a great watch! It is packed with humour and loads of color. Of course, it is very different from the book version, but anyway, for a movie starved lass like me, it is still a fab movie!

Mind you, even my fiance didnt fall asleep while watching! He even laughed dengan penuh bersemangat sekali, menyebabkan hati saya pun suka melihatnya.

But watching the film, I had a nagging feeling that I am*gulp* have some shopaholic syndrome:

1. I watch for sales/warehouse sales with eyes like a hawk..

2. Buying something makes me feel happier…

3.I go to warehouse sales in a great spirit and a well armed purse (and a suffering bank balance )..

4. Sum1 actually taught me how to stand properly in the crowd so that  I can keep my position at the front of the crown …

5. Sum1 taught me how to avoid stampede (which happens in warehouse sales) and the importance of having sharp elbows in times like this!

6. I learnt a few words in Cantonese and Mandarin from Sum1 and my future MIL (who likes warehouse sales too hehe) with specific use for pointing to desired items and asking  for its price. Next lesson: Haggling in Mandarin 101 (This is frighteningly like Becky Bloomwood, who in her case takes refuge in Finnish language)

I dont want to be a shopaholic.  I want to be a matured and perfectly poised  lady, financially savvy and knowledgable about finance fancy terms. I want to be someone who is well put together with her priorities RIGHT.

So…I just need to reprioritize, right?

So, then, my priorities would be:

1. Wedding

2.Honeymoon trip

3.A proper Hobo Bag from..maybe one of The 10 Best Hobo Bags by marie claire?  *sigh*

4.A House

There.

My priorities is right and I am well set up to achieve those goals  just in that sequence.

Oh, please dont question me on that little no 3 item.

Please.

I cant see your delectable Big Mac and you cant see my salad and chicken wraps. Therefore my diet wont be affected.

Nails Place

 Entri ini tiada kaitan dengan Naili’s place.

Saje je gatal taruk tajuk macam ni eheh.

Hari Isnin lepas kaki saya dihempap satu kotak barang perhiasan aka jewellery box diperbuat dari kayu serta dihiasi lukisan hand made perempuan berpakaian little black dress yang saya beli di Rooms KLCC. Ketika hari kejadian saya sedang berkemas-kemas dengan penuh semangat dan ketaqwaan hehe.

Kotak itu penuh dengan barang-barang seperti kerongsang-kerongsang dah takda pin, mak nenek bracelet dan cincin -cincin koktail yang maha besar dan tak lupa juga rantai etnik yang cantik yang pasti membuat saya jadi tumpuan di mana-mana rumah panjang. Tapi manakah ada peluang  nak ke rumah panjang itu kerana sewaktu saya datang (pulang?) ke Sarawak tempoh hari kerjanya menonton konsert  World Rainforest Music selain daripada memenuhkan perut dengan mi kolok, ayam panggang di Satok,ikan terubuk kari, ikan terubuk masin, ice cream Sunny Hill maha sedap dan juga Sushi King.

Berbalik ke cerita jari kaki saya dihempap tadi.

Sewaktu kejadian, bintang -bintang seakan muncul di hadapan mata. Darah menitis laju ke bumi dan saya sempat terfikirkan, ohh inilah ertinya tanah tumpah darahku. Memang tumpah pun.Banyak pulak itu!!

Setelah darah dilap, saya tengok kuku jari -telunjuk- kaki ( hehe pandai-pandai je kan) dah terbelah dua.Macam ni:

Oh my gawddd, sisi gedik saya memprotes…howlah nak pakai my great fabulous glamorous wedding heels???

Dan beberapa minit kemudian barulah sisi diri yang lebih matang dan menawan berfikir bahawa saya kena solat duduk ni. Sebab kalau kaki ni dihempap, semakin sakit rasanya.

A solution to my skin…yeay!

Since I have been working in a veryy cold air conditioned office since nearly 3 years ago, I discovered that my skin is getting dry especially my hands. I tried so many over the counter solutions like Nivea Creme, but still, it remains dry. I also try drinking lots of  waters tapi it makes me go to the toilet numerous time. Sejookkkkk!!!

The Chronicle of A Bride

 

Happy Convocation!!

Alhamdulillah..our DPA batch had our convocation last March 3rd 2009 at PICC, Putrajaya.

Sum1 and some other friends, including myself managed to get Lulus Cemerlang. I managed to get in the top 10 ranking. Hehe, I am happy but I know the ranking is not all that important. But for the sake of being proud and grateful of what we already have and loving yourself, I am giving myself a warm loving pat on the back. Go go Fiza!!

Photos? Oh I got some but macam biasa, saya memang malas mau upload especially dalam keadaan PC tader memory card reader nih.

Jadi saya pun ambil gambar daripada Ikaaaaa jugak hehe.
