Tips Pemilihan Fabrik

1. Pilihan terbaik ialah fabrik lembut yg tidak berkilat. Ini kerana wanita bertudung harus sentiasa berpegang pada prinsip berpakaian sopan, tidak menonjol.

2. Elak memilih kain satin

3. Fabrik terbaik buat anda seperti sifon, georgette, cita & sari yang kurang berkilat

Tips Potongan Pakaian

1. Pakaian wanita bertudung seharusnya longgar tapi tidaklah sehingga nampak menggeloboh kerana ia akan mencacatkan penampilan

2. Jika memilih fabrik lembut & jarang, pastikan ada lapik di dalam

3. Elakkan memakai pakaian yg melekap di tubuh kerana ia terkeluar dari prinsip berpakaian mengikut syariat.

4. Elakkan memakai kain yang ketat & terbelah

5. Blouse harus labuh dari bahagian pinggul serta elakkan berlengan pendek

6. Pastikan bahagian leher yang berpotongan luas & lebar ditutup dgn tudung utk memelihara aurat wanita.

7. Bagi pengantin montok, elak mengenakan pakaian yang ketat dengan tujuan utk mengecilkan sedikit tubuh anda. Ia usaha sia2 sebaliknya ia akan menonjolkan lagi bahagian yg tidak perlu pada tubuh anda.

8. Fabrik cita sesuai utk tubuh wanita yg montok. Elakkan fabrik satin kerana ia akan menyebabkan anda kelihatan lebih besar dari saiz asal.

Tips Pemilihan Warna

1. Wanita bertudung harus memilih warna yang lembut serta tidak menjolok mata contohnya, merah samar, biru lembut, krim atau putih

2. Elak warna yang menjolok mata seperti hijau serindit, merah saga & kuning diraja

3. Utk majlis akad nikah, warna krim atau putih antara pilihan terbaik.

Tips Hiasan Kepala

1. Anak tudung penting untuk dipakai bagi mengemaskan lagi rambut. Selain itu ia bertindak sebagai pemegang pada tiara. Ia menjadi asas supaya tiara tidak terlucut.

2. Elak memilih anak tudung dari kain yang berkilat, ini membuatkan tiara mudah jatuh.

3. Paling sesuai, pilih anak tudung yang dibuat dari kain kasa atau cita , ini untuk mengelakkan dari rasa terlau panas di kepala.

Tips Memilih Layah

1. Mini telekung mesti ringkas andai layah yg digayakan sudah dihiasi dengan jemeki atau batu permata

2. Apa jua hiasan pada layah ia harus tidak menyemakkan bahagian kepala dan muka

3. Hiasan layah perlu dijahit pada bahagian tepi layah sahaja. Elakkan hiasan yg terlalu penuh dan merimaskan.

4. Andai mahu menggayakan tiara, pastikan dari bentuk bulat.
5. Elak menggayakan tiara kecil atau separuh kerana ia akan kelihatan janggal bg pengantin bertudung.

6. Jika mahu menghias layah dengan renda pastikan memilih renda yang berbunga kecil. Elak memilih renda berbunga besar kerana ia membuatkan bentuk wajah anda tidak seimbang.

7. Pemilihan batu permata atau jemeki juga harus diambilkira. Elak memilih batu permata atau jemeki terlalu sarat. Jangan ubah diri anda dari pengantin kepada penari.

Tips Memilih Kasut

1. Kasut bertutup penuh adalah potongan kasut yang tepat buat pengantin bertudung.

2. Elakkan kasut yg terbuka di bahagian jari kaki. Kecacatan pada penampilan akan lebih terserlah.

Peninglah II

oohh semakin hampir semakin nervous la. Like, in 3 months? ok i need to go thru my check list again. dah la selama ni aku rasa macam ok  je tapi since i love to bloghop and found blogs featuring aspiring brides with the detailed descriptions of their wedding preparation, gulp i feel so *kerdil* hehe

Ok so the baju nikah belum tempah..and i need to identify the design that I want. I want something that is bridey, yet after kawen pun bole pakai lagi. I found something I like on a cover of majalah Perempuan past edition,(with Fara Deeba and Fifi in respective peach muslimah  bride dress) but the problem is I dotn know where to find a tudung bridey enough.

Is it Sri Munawwarah (oo I heard there could be a crowd in front of the shop when there is a new stock update, begitula hotnya kedai ni), or  Butik Jedan PKNS Shah Alam?

And one more thing,  I also need a lace bolero….this would  justify a trip to any western  style wedding boutique.

Ok la..I think my wedding is the only thing that I have in mind..sampai tak pikir menda lain…macam tade life saja hehe

so next week , I must go play paint ball with nana and qila!!!

P/S:Oh well, did I mention to you that last week I went to PGL at Istana Budaya?  Best gilaaaa!!!

Piccas

Tetiba rindu zaman-zaman DPA.  The greatest sidang ever, f”ians.

Since then there is one of my f’ians friend who got engaged to another fellow f’ians…joining yours truly club!

The  f’ians are always ready to celebrate beautiful moments..

Yeah, moments like this!

Or moments like being stuck at the road side waiting for them guys to fix tayar pancit (on our way to B.T.’s wedding in Kampar, Perak)

All of those are delicious moments, much better than me eating chicken chop at a i-forgot-the-name-of-this-restaurant-but-it-serves-halal-nyonya-food in Setia Alam.

And also, another beautiful moment is being able to attend and celebrate my friend (we used to date eons ago, hihi) wedding.  His wife, Jamal is a nice and pretty girl, and the reception was a simple yet meriah ceremony. Congrats!

Simple Yet With Some Wowness!

I totally heart this design… but since my reception dress and also the songket is already done, insya allah I am going to reserve this design for our small reception in Kuching, around November. The fabric is already bought and it is in ivory.

Actually I have been looking through many bridals and sadly I havent found one that I like enough. I am really not into those half songket half lace dress, or a  certain shocking pink dress with Queen Amidala headdress (you know, Star Wars) I have seen somewhere. For me, let it be simple, and the word is, simple yet with some wowness!

Pen Merah Pen Biru U Marah I love U

Red and aqua blue…hem…

I have occasionally think of this color combination  after I saw a bride in aqua blue lace holding a bouquet of red roses. But the practical side of me keep on whispering boring pieces of advices on how difficult it is to get the deco in this rare combination and its must cost a bomb to get everything to match and how it is not important anyway because all that is important is I get to hold Sum1’s hands legally after the wedding and then we will be off to go backpacking honeymoon somewhere cold enought to snuggle comfortably

I like the combination so much that I insist on having a baby blue songket for the majlis berinai.  And yes, saya mau  a lot of red roses . The blue songket is found and Alhamdulillah  dah siap pun!! *gleeful*
